요즘 들어
갑자기 구토, 설사, 발열 같은 증상으로
고생하는 분들 많죠?

이런 급성 장염 증상을 유발하는
대표 바이러스 중 하나가
바로 사포바이러스(Sapporo virus)예요.

이름은 조금 생소할 수 있지만,
특히 영유아나 어린이집에서 종종 발생하는
장염의 원인으로 알려져 있습니다.

★ 사포바이러스, 정체가 뭐야?

사포바이러스는
칼리시바이러스과(Caliciviridae)에 속하는 바이러스예요.
1977년 일본 삿포로(Sapporo)의 한 소아과 병원에서 유아 장염 집단 감염 사례를 통해 처음 발견되었죠.
그래서 이름도 '사포로 바이러스'가 붙었답니다.
 
감염 부위: 주로 위장관
전파 경로: 오염된 음식물, 손, 물건 등을 통한 경구 감염
감염력: 굉장히 강함! 소량의 바이러스만으로도 감염 가능

★ 주요 증상 

📌 보통 감염 후 1~3일 내 증상 발현,
2~4일 안에 자연 회복되지만
면역력이 약한 어린이, 고령자는 주의가 필요해요!

★ 사포바이러스 vs 노로바이러스, 뭐가 달라?

많이들 헷갈리시죠?
두 바이러스 모두 급성 위장염을 유발하지만,
약간의 차이가 있어요:

🧼 예방법은? 손 씻기보다 더 중요한 건 없어요!

흐르는 물에 비누로 30초 이상 손 씻기
조리 도구, 장난감, 문 손잡이 등 소독 철저히 하기
유아 장난감 자주 삶거나 소독제 사용
감염자와의 접촉 최소화
증상 있을 땐 어린이집/학교/직장 등원 자제

❌ 치료제는 없습니다! 증상 관리가 핵심

사포바이러스는 특별한 항바이러스제가 없기 때문에
수분 보충과 휴식이 가장 중요합니다.
아이가 물을 못 마신다면,
전해질 음료나 소량의 물을 자주 줘야 해요.
증상이 심하다면 병원에서 수액 치료가 필요할 수 있어요.
항생제는 효과 없음! → 바이러스이기 때문

“Enrollment is closed.”
→ 등록이 마감되었습니다.




2. 자리가 남았을 때

“There are still a few spots left.”
→ 몇 자리 남아 있어요.

“Enrollment is still open.”
→ 등록 가능합니다.

“You can still join the class.”
→ 아직 수강 신청할 수 있습니다.
